Jonah - Running from God
The story of Jonah's flight from God intrigues us all. What captured my attention was that he was willing to die in his disobedience. How many will go to their deathbed willing to die disobedient to God's call on their life? What a statement for many of God's people - knowing what God would have them to do and not attempting to accomplish the task.

I am running from God's call and have become bitter towards the church. i wanted to be a pastor, and was stuck in pornography- after going through counselling to overcome it I was so embarrassed, I could not go on. I have isolated myself from church and moved away 8 years ago from my home chruch. I still have a burning desire to preach the gospel, but have isolated myself and do not want to go to any church, be in devotions even talk about it without welling up inside. I feel God calls me still, but I squash it because my wife is against the calling right now because it does not make money - but I could care less about the money. I am adrift, discouraged, and suffocating fro running from God's calling.
